This is a state run hotel located right on the main road. Rooms are large. The deluxe rooms are provided with an electric kettle. The AC worked well and there was running hot and cold water in the attached bathroom. Car parking is outside the hotel, but is under CCTV surveillance. There is a restaurant with reasonable variety of dishes and a beer bar. Food at the restaurant is OK but not great. The staff are polite and helpful. There are a lot of monkeys; it is sensible to keep the door locked. Overall, a good place to stay in Badami

Hotel is very close the caves and other spots. The hotel is right on the main road but tucked away from the noisy street. That's the good part. Staffs are very polite and courteous. The hotel premise is very big. Their AC semi deluxe rooms are huge and a better option as compared to the other rooms. The semi deluxe rooms have 3 beds, sitting area and a separate dressing area. Rooms and bathroom are clean. 24/7 running hot water. Food requires a special mention. Menu card has a lot of variety and each dish tastes superb!! You will always find autos waiting outside the premise to take you for a tour of the spots. So make a good bargain and start the day!!

Stayed here in Dec22 with my family on a trip via Badami. My impressions: 1. Room - Massive. That's the first impression walking into the room. The room size was three time your normal hotel rooms. Very clean and it seems to have recently undergone some redesign. Nicely done. Other basic amenities were also there. Two cupboards to keep your stuff. The washroom was also quite spacious and decently done. The fittings were new. All in all a very pleasant experience. 2. Food - This is where KSTDC has to think a bit. The restaurant works on strict timings and in the evening, you cant get anything to eat or drink (not even tea). We had to go out for buying some snacks for kids. The dinner served was quick and efficient. Food tasted good. Limited local cuisine though. Didnt have breakfast as we had to leave early morning. 3. Location - quite close to the badami temples. close to the main market also. Conveniently located. 4. Overall - Had no complaints from this place. Nice large rooms more than made up for other smaller niggles.

Clean room and bath room / toilet. Very good hospitality & food. Safe & economical stay. It is located just one kilometer from Badami caves. Co-operative staff and value for money in reference to the room and food.

Our stay was perfect. rooms was big and clean...Reception staff is a great help to the guests..food service is a bit slow. location is peaceful and centrally located. You will find local transport near the hotel and reception staff is very cordial in arranging for either taxi or local transport.
